I am pretty sure that like every year you would have new plans and resolutions to make life better, and earnestly we hope you achieve them. Other than your own design we are suggesting 5 changes or habits that you may cultivate in life, to make it more beautiful this year and all years to come. Here goes:
Planning Your Day in Advance: Time is finite, yet we can’t wrap our heads around the notion. We leave things to last minute and then rush to complete them, on top of that wonder where time flies. Well, just a little preparation and planning on our side can ease out our day. You may select your outfit and accessories, the files or documents you’ll need the night before. This leaves you free to take time to have your breakfast and leave easy. You can make a task list, and according to your time, plan when you can complete them.
The benefit of this exercise is a stress-free start to your day, and no tasks haunting you. Also, you’ll be calm and collect throughout.
Me Time: The most important relationship any person will have is foremost with self. But for some unfathomable reason very few understand and work on it. If you will be compromising all the time with yourself, you will be doing no one a favor. With an unhappy self, you cannot give 100% to anything else. So do not ignore yourself this year. Take time out for yourself, indulge yourself as well not just others. When needed, say no to others. Dedicate time to yourself, things that please you, have your personal space, so you may promote healthy relationships. The obvious benefit is a happier and more rooted you.
Be Open Minded: High time people broaden the horizons of your thinking. Be open-minded towards people and life. Meaning, be open to changes, be more receptive to other people, stop trolling others on social media. Stop commenting on other’s life. It’s okay to have an opinion but totally uncool to be over-bearing with it. We all know how it feels to be at the receiving end of unnecessary criticism, so enough with the judgments. Let’s pledge to look beyond the surface and let’s work on our own grasses rather than always looking beyond and comparing. When you stop comparing your life with others, then you leave behind the heartache and are at peace. This year Live & Let Live.
Leave The Past: Yes, we all make mistakes, we all have that ‘What-If’ feeling. And visiting past sometimes is beneficial as long as you only bring the learning. But more often than not people continuously dwell in past. So get a hang of yourself and make peace with your past. Free your mind to work on your present. So tomorrow you may also have a better past and a better future.
Take A Solo Trip: Yes we all go out on vacations with family and friends. But when was the last time you went out with yourself. This year go out with yourself. This gives you the freedom of being unapologetically you. It frees your spirit and let your inner voice talk and tell you things that otherwise get drowned in the daily noises. You get to know yourself better, so you can plan your life better. So this year go out with yourself at least once.
On this note, Happy New Year!
