This snack which will make your tummy full. Raw vegetables are rich in minerals, vitamins and enzymes while yoghurt is rich in calcium and protein. You can use vegetables like broccoli, carrot, celery and tomatoes with yoghurt. This will not only will keep your hunger at bay, but also will serve as the best healthy snack in the list.
Pulses can control sugar levels as they are rich in protein and fibre. To give a delicious twist, after steaming sprouts you can throw in chopped cucumber, tomatoes, kala chana, cottage cheese etc with a spoon of lemon juice and salt.
Nuts are good for diabetics as they contain healthy fats and protein while being low in carbohydrates. Nuts are crunchy and tasty and require no preparation to eat.
Doctors might recommend you avoid any sugary items like milkshakes but smoothies are here to save the day for you. You can make smoothies out of fruits and vegetables. You can mix the latter things with some coconut water too.
