Remember our childhood days? Aaahh !! The days with no responsibility where everything around was fun and games. Decades passed by and now we work. we have full-time responsibilities at work. Other than work we have families to take care of. Our mind is stressed at different levels, and this makes us tired and exhausted.
This stress can be wiped out from your life. How? The answer and the ability to do that is in your hands. Mediation is what we are talking about. You already have everything you need to meditate at this very moment.
Tips for reinventing yourself:
Stop, meditate and levitate
Before you begin any huge task of the day during work, take a moment for yourself. Levitate in this context means lifting up your stress from your shoulders. As little as five minutes can make a huge difference in a way you see the world through meditation. One of the ways to achieve this is to focus on your own self. Sit comfortably and close your eyes. You can take a natural and rhythmic breath while counting from one to ten. Start over the same process for another five minutes. This enhances your focus and makes your productivity high.
Listen and feel
You can do this by relaxing in your chair, close your eyes and start breathing slowly. Turn your attention toward the sensation in your hands, and body toward the chair. Feel your feet touching the floor. Let the noise in the room go through you. Listen to all the possible sounds made around you. Through this technique, you will be able to relax well.
Walking meditation
Who said meditation can be done only while sitting still? You can go out of the office and walk for a while. Begin walking slowly and feel your feet, ankles, calves, knees, hamstrings, quads, and your hips while you walk. Synchronise your steps with your breathing. This technique allows you to relax and take out stress from the shoulders
Reciting mantra
While meditation feels free to recite a mantra like a phrase or a word. You can choose to recite a sloka or chant God’s name or you can even use the phrase “I am ready”. You can then align your words with your breath for it to be more rhythmic and consistent. This technique boosts your self-confidence and will hp you prepare for your big task or your project.
While meditating, use the power of imagination. Let the imagination and thoughts go wild. Paint a landscape in your mind. For example, think that you are sitting in a park with greenery around you and away you can see an alluring waterfall. Create the world around you. Do not force any picture, it should draw on its own. This allows you to reconnect to the present and keeps your mind fresh
