Crossfit was founded 15 years ago when a California-based interval workout program combined with Olympic lifting came into play. The idea of Crossfit is to do intense and extreme workout which vary day to day. This results in maximizing your endurance, speed, strength, power, agility, and muscle coordination. A typical Crossfit class can be anywhere from fifteen to one hour class which consists of a warm-up, skill session, instruction for doing the movements, and cool-down.
Crossfit is an intense workout which is fast-paced. This takes only fifteen minutes a day. All intense workouts such as burpees, a jog and squats get squeezed into these fifteen minutes. This short-burst of exercise burns the calories efficiently.
No chance of cheating
In a regular gym, you can cheat the reps and take longer breaks and become lazy. However, Crossfit is tailored in such a way that there is no option but to max your performance.
Since the time period for Crossfit is for thirty to fifteen minutes, you save a lot of time than normal workout routines. By the end of a regular thirty minutes workout, you would have burned more calories than any normal workout which you did for an hour.
Crossfit is much more effective because every person is trained personally. The coach ensures proper form, provide modifications, encouragement, uphold standards.
