The breeding sites of Aedes mosquito are as follows –
- Flower pots
- Domestic containers
- Plant Axils,
- Ornamental containers used as decorative
- Toilet bowls or cisterns
All the above-mentioned breeding places you need to take care at home, check periodically, if you have plants indoors, take extra care and clean the pots and leaves regularly! On every alternate day, make sure to change the water in vases. Avoid using flower pot plates. Don’t forget to remove air-conditioner trays. In order to remove mosquito eggs, scrub the inside of the vases
Now the below-mentioned sites are in your community, public places, and for that you need the help of community/society members to ensure no breeding site is available to the mosquitoes, By proper waste disposal, improved water storage and checking water stagnancy, you can decrease the number of mosquitoes in your area
