- Masks made of fabric, such as cotton, bandannas/face scarves can be washed in your regular laundry using hot water.
- Disposable, surgical masks cannot be cleaned and should be thrown away when soiled or damaged.
- You can also hand wash your mask, using hot/ soapy water by scrubbing the mask for at least 20 seconds. After that dry them in the dryer.
Remember, masks alone cannot help prevent virus transmission, social distancing, hand washing are also a must!
